High-Order Schemes

Hello Everyone,

I have a turbomachinery simulation case which requires high-order schemes such as CENO,WENO (5th order) and Riemann solvers. So i would like to know if FENICs is consist of these schemes, so that i can learn/simulate my case for my PhD thesis.

Thank you for your time,

FEniCS is a toolbox generalised for the solution of PDEs by the finite element method. My typical response is “anything is possible, it just has to be implemented”. I am unaware of anyone working with *ENO schemes with FEniCS, but there’s nothing to prevent the user from implementing their own. The greatest challenges would likely be handling unstructured meshes, and augmenting the ghosts halo to include neighbours-of-neighbours.
