From the [change log](https://jsdokken.com/dolfinx-tutorial/Changelog.html?highlight=compute_point_values#id2) of the dolfinx-tutorial,

> dolfinx.fem.Function.compute\_point\_values has been deprecated. Interpolation into a CG-1 is now the way of getting vertex values.
