@conpierce8 i understand but why when i try to solve the same problem with code mentioned here [Extract Stiffness tensor](https://fenicsproject.discourse.group/t/extract-stiffness-tensor-c/6155) with the same gaussian distribution it gives us a symmetrical effective tensor. Isn’t the two models equivalent ?
