# Simple surface contact between different volumes

It depends on your familiarity with DOLFIN.  
I would look at: [The new DOLFINx solver is now recommended over DOLFIN](https://fenicsproject.discourse.group/t/the-new-dolfinx-solver-is-now-recommended-over-dolfin/8249)  
and look at the actual resources to see what will fit you best.

DOLFIN is no longer maintained (in the sense that there are no-one fixing bugs, and rarely anyone making PRs to ensure that it is compatible with new compilers etc).
