Non-matching meshes for electromagnetic eigenfrequency simulation

Hello everyone. I’m trying to build a simulation with the mesh separated in two non-matching meshes. The geometry is very large with small changes, so I’m planning to have a fixed domain already meshed (in a file m1.msh), and then mesh the other portion (that goes into another file, m2.msh). Meshes are done in gmsh, and I have defined the tags for the contact boundaries in both meshes. The contact meshes will have no boundary condition in the final model. I have tried to build a compound mesh and use it with my FEniCSx script, but I was not able to do it. What approach do you suggest? Is there any example of something similar?
