Navier Stokes equiation cylinder

Hi I’m new to fenics and working through the fenics tutorial to solve the Navier-Stokes equations. The problem is, I need the circular obstacle to be in a different place, for example in the center and at the end of the cylinder. If someone knows how to do this please help. I tried to change the circle coordinates and boundary conditions, but it looks like I’m doing something wrong.

In the screenshot, the coordinates of the circular hole are 0.2 x 0.2, it has been changed in the code, since I’m trying to put a circular hole in the center

Can’t make a hole in the center

This won’t help answer your question, but for an up-to-date example consider this tutorial.

Why won’t it help? An error in the code that I don’t see, but someone else might see it and report it, but the fact that you threw off the solution there with everything else

The direct answer is that the center’s y coordinate should be 0.205, not 1.1, since the height of the channel is only 0.41. However, as @nate mentioned, the newer tutorial would be a better starting point, where you can move the cylinder by editing the values of c_x and c_y.
