Quadrilateral mesh adaptation

Hello dear Fenics community!

I’m trying to find a correct mesh adaptation example with quadrilateral elements. That’s simple to solve the Poisson’s equation, for example, with quadrilateral elements and, also, I found several examples of how to adapte it on triangular mesh, but I’m not able to combine them together. May be you have any recommandations? Is that even possible?

There is very little support for quadrilateral meshes in dolfin. There is more support in dolfinx, but I do believe that no one has added a quadrilateral adaptation algorithm.
