Hello everyone,
I want to solve a 2D flow problem of the Navier-Stokes equation. Generally, for the inflow BC, many works impose a plug velocity (constant velocity) or a velocity profile from an analytical expression. I cannot impose an analytical velocity profile at the inlet since I deal with non-Newtonian fluids for which non analytical expression occur. Moreover, I want to avoid the entrance region created by a plug velocity inlet BC. I want to simultaneously solve the 2D Navier-Stokes in the 2D domain with the 1D Navier-Stokes with a constant flow rate which will be the BC for the inlet of the 2D problem. Is it possible?
Thank you.
