Announcing FEniCS 2026: 17-19 June 2026 at Paris, at the University of Chicago | John W. Boyer Center, France

Dear all,

We are pleased to mention here on the Discourse that the final abstract submission deadline for the FEniCS 2026 conference is approaching soon: 27 March 2026!

Join us in Paris from 17–19 June 2026 at the University of Chicago | John W. Boyer Center to exchange ideas and network with the FEniCS community.

This is the (really) final submission deadline, so don’t miss your chance! Submit your abstract and find more details on the FEniCS 2026 website: FEniCS 2026 | FEniCS Project.

Remember: in addition to a regular talk or poster, participants may submit a second abstract for the software showcase session to demonstrate the FEniCS‑based software package they would like to share with the community.

We are also pleased to offer travel awards to support attendees who require financial assistance, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, Flax & Teal Limited and the d’Alembert Institute at Sorbonne Université. Priority will be given to junior students, early‑career researchers, and applicants from countries with less developed research infrastructure. To apply for a travel award, please send a letter of motivation, an estimate of travel costs, your CV, and—if applicable—the title of your submitted abstract to: fenics-2026@dalembert.upmc.fr.

Important Dates:

  • Abstract Deadline: 27 March 2026
  • Travel Grant Deadline: 27 March 2026
  • Registration Deadline: will be announced soon

If you have any questions about the conference organisation, please contact: fenics-2026@dalembert.upmc.fr

We look forward to seeing many of you there!
