Looking for examples for stress-strain calculations on non-planar shells

Hi, I wonder if there are any examples or tutorials somewhere for stress-strain calculations with shell elements on manifolds that are non-planar (for example a cylindrical shell)? All examples I have found (including the fenics-shells package) seem only to have examples for planar domains (and the implementations do not extend to general 3D manifolds if I understand correctly). Any ideas would be welcome.
